We also do old 8mm and Super 8mm movies with or without sound to DVD. We have the latest equipment that captures each frame of your old movies from the emulsion side of the film which is the sharpest side. The files are then taken thru a conversion process for rendering them at the right speed for playback on todays video screens. The files are then put in a production program, your sound is added, Titles are put in and transitions are added. Then a chapter is added for each reel to allow easy access to your movies. A High Quality DVD is then produced which is not copy protected to allow you to import the movies or clips into your computer at a later date for makeing additional edits and or productions from the movies. Scanning charges, for bulk orders: · "trial special" - up to 100 photos, on a CD, $24.99 · · Up to 500 photos, including CD or DVD: $59.99 · Up to 1,000 photos, including CD or DVD: $89.99 · duplicate CDs $4.99 each · duplicate DVDs $7.99 each · make 8x10 contact sheets, 24 small images per page, from a complete CD or DVD: $2.29 per page Instructions for preparing and sending your photos for scanning: All scans are done at a 300dpi. Photos for bulk scanning orders must be unmounted, not torn or bent, no smaller than 2 1/2" x 3" size or larger than 8"x10". Photos should be put in order by size and set in an upward direction as we do not rotate any images. The bottom edge of the photo must be at least 3 inches or it will not scan. We do not guarantee rotation of the final image. Send your orders in any size box such as those provided by the US Post Office for Priortity mail or UPS stores. We reccommend you put each different size in a seperate zip lock bag or envelope.
